What is a MEDrefer referral?

It is a standard referral letter usually from a GP, securely stored online and supported by email notification services that keep all parties informed of the referral’s current status. The patient carries only a “Referral Certificate” which includes the specialist or allied health contact information and a code you can use to access a summary of the referral to review and if appropriate, accept the referral.
