Registration for MEDrefer is easy, and completely free for GPs. Via Best Practice, it's even easier. All you need to do is provide us with your email address (which becomes your MEDrefer username) and a password to immediately start using MEDrefer to securely issue and track your referrals from within Bp.
Here’s a step-by-step guide.
1 - Open the Bp Word Processor and Click the MEDrefer icon
2 - Click Sign Up
3 - Provide your Email address and choose a password
Your email address serves as your MEDrefer username. It gives us a way to get in touch if you forget your password for example. By default, we also send notifications of events that occur on any referrals you issue, but since these are also sent to your Bp Inbox, it’s safe to disable the email notifications. Contact us on email@example.com from the email address you’ve registered with if you’d like us to do this.
If you receive an error message saying “Account already exists” it means we already have a listing using the email address you’ve provided. Visit www.medrefer.com.au/login , click “Forgot your password?” and enter your email address. We’ll send you a link to retrieve it.
Note: If you’re already registered for MEDrefer, you should instead click Sign in, and enter the email address and password you provided when you registered.
4 - Try your first search
After registering (or signing in), you should see the search form, with fields for a search term, a location and a search radius in km. Try searching for a speciality in your area. For more information about searching and issuing a referral, see this how to.
